Abstract
One of the most feared diseases in the world today is diseases that attack the brain. According to Robert Ornstein and Richard F. Thompson who are neurologists in their book The Amazing Brain, the brain is a person who regulates all body functions, controls behavior, and is the center of understanding so that it is appropriate for us as humans to maintain the health of one of the most important organs in the body. Dementia is a syndrome of progressive intellectual decline that causes impaired cognitive function, resulting in impaired social, work, and daily activities. Generally, people are more familiar with dementia with the term senile. The problem that often occurs is when the elderly who are senile travel even their position is far from home and often forget the way back home, resulting in children and family members of the elderly often losing the elderly because it is difficult to find and know the location of the elderly. The solution for the elderly in building a model system to prevent the elderly from disappearing, the author uses a NodeMCU microcontroller and GPS sensor where the way it works when the elderly are confused and lost, the elderly can press the button or the family can track the location via telegram. With the aim of making it easier for families to track down the missing elderly. With the working principle, the elderly are confused and lost, so the elderly can press the button or the family can track the location via telegram.
