Abstract
IoT is a network that connects various objects with identifiers and IP addresses, enabling communication and information exchange. IoT has changed our interaction with the surrounding environment, including in the field of security and surveillance. Fire is a detrimental event that can occur anywhere, including in a showroom, and it is important to have a system that can detect fires quickly and secure the CV. Auto Bally Bintang showroom using IoT technology. The risk of fire and theft in the showroom needs to be addressed with an effective and fast protection system to protect lives and valuable assets. This study aims to develop an IoT-based fire detection and showroom security monitoring system equipped with various sensors, such as smoke sensors, fire detection sensors, motion sensors, which are connected to the internet network. This system is designed to monitor signs of fire, the presence of smoke or fire, and movement in real time. The process of monitoring fires and showroom security is very difficult to do at night when employees are asleep, so a system is needed that can provide quick warnings through loud sounds and monitoring movements using smartphones. for notification and monitoring this system uses the Blynk application, this system can be monitored remotely and can make employees efficient in monitoring the condition of the showroom. This study identified the problem of low fire detection rates and the difficulty of monitoring thief movements in real time. The limitations of the problems taken include the use of PIR sensors to detect movement, Flame sensors to detect fire, MQ-4 sensors to detect gas leaks, and several other hardware. This system is only active at night with automatic scheduling. The purpose of this study is to build an IoT-based fire detection system and prevent theft in the showroom when no one is guarding.
