Abstract
An efficient and integrated management information system has an important role in the operation of a coffee shop, one of which is in Samara Coffee and Space Pekanbaru. However, in reality, what happened at Samara Coffee and Space Pekanbaru still uses a cashier system only or uses several Excel sheets and ledgers. As a result, Samara Coffee and Space Pekanbaru face difficulties for coffee shop managers to monitor raw material stocks, process orders, manage finances, track sales, and analyze business performance. This research aims to build a coffee shop management information system using the web-based Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. This study identifies problems faced in coffee shop management, such as stock management, ordering process, managing finances, and less effectively analyzing business performance. The RAD approach was chosen as the design methodology because of its ability to accelerate information systems Development by utilizing prototyping, iteration, and user participation. The research methods used include research design, data collection, and data analysis. In information system design, there are system architecture design, database design, and user interface design. The design of this system involves users getting feedback and ensuring their needs are met. The results of this study are expected to provide efficient solutions in coffee shop management. The built information system will facilitate data management, process orders quickly, and monitor inventory in real time.
