Abstract
In today's modern era, there is a need to assist the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) staff in more accurately selecting blood donor candidates. This is due to the fact that errors in considering the eligibility of prospective donors can negatively impact the donor's health after donating blood. Therefore, the author proposes the development of a decision support system that can facilitate PMI staff in selecting blood donor candidates. The eligibility determination process typically involves medical examinations such as checking body weight, body temperature, blood pressure, and other health tests. Although blood donation is generally safe, there are some cases where donors experience mild side effects such as pain at the injection site or dizziness. With the presence of a decision support system, it is hoped that the risk of errors in selecting prospective donors can be minimized, thereby ensuring the donor's health and making the blood donation process safer and more efficient.
