Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect off competence and work discipline on the performance of public high school teachers in Talang Muandau District, Bengkalis District. The population in this study were 43 people. The sampling technique used the census method so that the entire population was sampled, namely 43 teachers. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis and SPSS 26 statistical testing. The results of this study indicate that partially, competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance and work discipline has a positive and significant effect on the performance of public high school teachers in Talang Muandau sub-district, Bengkalis Regency. Simultaneously, competence and work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of public high school teachers in Talang Muandau district, Bengkalis Regency.
