Abstract
Coaching is an effort to maintain, train and improve to be even better, in this study the aim is to find out more about how the Lurah is fostering the Neighborhood Association in the Minas Jaya Village. The research method uses qualitative research methods as a technique for data collection and direct interviews with informants and informants. The results of the study show that the Lurah has carried out coaching for the Neighborhood Association in the Minas Jaya Village in an informal form, this can be seen from several indicators such asFirst counseling conducted by Lurah Minas Jaya is not formal but informal in the form of PTSL-PM counseling invitations with Neighborhood Associations.Second the directions carried out by the lurah are also in oral or written form through communication tools such as the Rukun Tetangga whatsapp group and so on, this is also done when an RT experiences problems in the community.Thirdthe guidance carried out by the lurah is not in a formal form such as involving the heads of RTs in training and so on. Obstacles that researchers found in this study areFirst, lack of understanding of resources (RT head) in not understanding the duties and instructions of the Lurah regarding night patrols and so on.Second The unavailability of special funds to organize and produce manuals for the Head of the Neighborhood Association in carrying out his role as the Head of the Neighborhood Association, this hampers the way of understanding for each individual who is the head of the Neighborhood Association.
