Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance at the Civil Service Police Unit Office of Rokan Hulu. The population in this study were 75 employees. Sampling using purposive sampling method, namely a portion of the population as a sample of 50 people. Types and sources of data are primary and secondary data, while data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and interviews. Analysis of the data used in this study is a simple linear analysis, namely the t test, r-square test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Rokan Hulu Civil Service Police Unit Office. The level of relationship between the two variables is in the moderate category, which means that the ability of the independent variables to explain the dependent variable is good.
