Abstract

This research discusses the development and evaluation of a prototype Attendance System based on RFID and NodeMCU integrated with the web. Attendance testing based on RFID is conducted using RFID technology as a benchmark. A large amount of test data, consisting of 20 entries, is utilized to evaluate the prototype's performance in various scenarios of monitoring student attendance. The accuracy testing of data aims to assess how well the prototype can process raw data into accurate information in the context of an RFID-based attendance system. The system is tested using known attendance data, and the processed results are compared with the actual values to assess the system's accuracy. The results of the testing reveal a 100% accuracy rate for the prototype, where all 20 test entries provide correct attendance results. Factors such as the new condition of the device and the incomplete implementation of the system contribute significantly to the high accuracy rate. This research provides a comprehensive understanding of the prototype's performance, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the system in delivering attendance results. Accuracy testing aids in identifying and rectifying potential weaknesses, allowing continuous development to enhance system reliability. The conclusion from this testing indicates that the prototype exhibits optimal performance and is ready for use in real attendance system contexts.
