Abstract

Happiness is a state of mind or feeling characterized by sufficiency to intense pleasure, love, satisfaction, enjoyment, or joy. Happiness can be influenced by various factors, one of these factors is self-adjustment. This study aims to determine how the relationship between self-adjustment and happiness in overseas children who work. Collecting data in this study using a scale of emotional maturity and decision-making scale. The population in this study were overseas children who worked in Pekanbaru with a total sample of 150 people obtained by means of the snowball sampling technique. The analysis technique in this research uses Pearson's product moment analysis technique. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between self-adjustment and happiness in working overseas children.
