Abstract
In traffic there are people moving on the road which will result in activities that cause driver negligence and result in an accident. The consequences of traffic accidents can result in several losses, namely damage to public facilities and can even cause loss of life. The lack of awareness of traffic laws and discipline encourages people in Indonesia to contribute to the weak culture of society in this country. The problem in this perpetrator research is how to enforce the law against criminal traffic accidents which result in the loss of other people's lives in the Inhil Police area and what are the obstacles in enforcing the law against criminal traffic accidents in the Inhil Police jurisdiction. Based on research conducted using empirical methods based on statutory regulations as well as conducting observations in the field. Meanwhile, this research is analytical. This research is primarily a deductive type of research in which the researcher starts with a theory, or generalization and then tests it through observation and data collection. In the implementation of law enforcement in the jurisdiction of the Inhil Police, it is running as it should, where the criminal perpetrator carries out the process of implementing law enforcement, including: summons, arrest, exile, confiscation. However, there are several factors that hinder law enforcement from sp3 to p21. Factors that hinder the implementation of law enforcement include ensuring infrastructure facilities, the difficulty of getting witnesses who actually saw a traffic accident and the presence of third parties who interfere in the enforcement process. legal law in the jurisdiction of the Inhil Police.
