Abstract

Cette étude vise à connaître la protection juridique des consommateurs contre les dommages lors de la livraison de marchandises chez J&T Express. Les services d’expédition de fret sont l’un des services les plus nécessaires, surtout avec les temps de plus en plus sophistiqués. Les humains rechercheront toujours la commodité de l’ère de la mondialisation afin d’obtenir quelque chose facilement et instantanément. The formulation of the problem proposed is: How to protect consumers from damage in the delivery of goods at J&T Express Simpang Tiga. And how to implement the compensation submitted by consumers for the occurrence of damage to gods caused by the J&T Express Simpang Tiga expedition service. Cette recherche comprend la recherche observationnelle. Les documents juridiques de cette recherche ont été recueillis au moyen d’études documentaires et d’entretiens avec les répondants, à savoir les coursiers des services d’expédition J&T Simpang Tiga. L’approche utilisée est sociologique descriptive, c’est-à-dire une recherche qui vise à produire une image ou un événement systématique, précis et exact basé sur des faits réels et à analyser la relation avec les symptômes étudiés. The results of this study show that consumer protection for the guarantee of smooth and feasible delivery of goods at J&T is still weak. It can be seen that the number of goods wrecked experienced by consumers is caused by the slow J&T expedition in handling complaint services in the form of complaints or claims from consumers for damage and loss of goods packages. In addition, the responsibility of J&T expedition in carrying out the smooth and proper delivery of goods is not fulfilled. As a result of the losses incurred, J&T Company only provides responsibility for what percentage of the losses experienced by consumers. The amount of compensation provided by the company to consumers is not commensurate / equivalent or in accordance with the losses experienced by consumers, so the company is not fully responsible for the losses incurred.
