Abstract

The creativity of a teacher's teaching greatly influences student understanding. This has attracted the attention of researchers thereby increasing the publication of publications related to teacher creativity. The large number of research results related to teacher creativity is the background to which this research was conducted. The purpose of this study is to see research trends related to teacher creativity in learning mathematics on the Scopus database. The research method used is descriptive bibliometric analysis method. In searching for research data using the Scopus database, 52 data were obtained after going through four refinement steps, namely identification, screening, feasibility assessment, and inclusion. VOSviewer and Publish or Perish applications are used in analyzing the data. The results of the study show that the trend of publications related to teacher creativity in learning mathematics has increased in recent years. Indonesia and the United States are the most influential countries in this field. The focus of research related to teacher creativity in learning mathematics is, 1) creativity and teacher perceptions; 2) teacher creativity and teacher leadership; 3) teaching design thinking, and creativity self-efficacy. The new themes in this field are motivation, higher education and teacher leadership. The three parts of the research focus and new themes in this field can be used as guidelines for further research that wants to take the theme of teacher creativity, especially in learning mathematics, to determine the research focus to be studied.
