Abstract
As the background of this research, the researchers found that the mathematics learning achievement of Class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Mandau could be said to be lacking. This can be seen from the scores of students who have not yet reached the KKM. To overcome this the teacher has made various efforts, namely by holding group discussions, adding homework and increasing study hours outside of school study hours. This study discusses the development of learning tools that use the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on the subject of algebraic forms carried out in class VII. The products to be developed are in the form of lesson plans and worksheets which contain 4 meetings. The purpose of developing learning tools is to produce new products or improve existing products that can be accounted for. The other goal is to produce learning tools that are able to solve learning problems in class. The learning tools developed in this study focus on developing the ADDIE Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate model. The RPP and LKPD validation sheets are the tools used to collect the results of the data obtained. The data collection method used was non-test by validating the device by validators, namely two math teachers and two math teachers. This study obtained 89.72% of the RPP validation results in the valid category and 88.20% of the LKPD validation results in the valid category.
