Abstract
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of compensation on the performance of employees of the Regional Asset Financial Management Agency in Rokan Hilir Regency, to determine and analyze the effect of competence on the performance of employees of the Regional Asset Financial Management Agency in Rokan Hilir Regency, and to determine and analyze compensation and competence for Simultaneous Performance of Regional Asset Financial Management Agency Employees in Rokan Hilir Regency. In this study, several phenomena were found, including compensation being no less important because compensation is the right of employees for their work, therefore fluctuations in compensation also affect employee performance. Based on the observations of researchers, the compensation provided by agencies has decreased amid demands for higher performance and inadequate employee competence in accordance with their main tasks and functions both in the administrative and technical fields so that the tasks and functions of service to the community have not fully run optimally. For this reason, follow-up regarding changes in the human resource organization to improve employee performance is an acceleration in meeting the desired targets in accordance with the provision of compensation and increasing employee competence. The formulation of the research problem is, How does compensation and competence influence the performance of employees of the Regional Asset Financial Management Agency in Rokan Regency. This type of research is a descriptive survey that describes the actual reality of the field. This type of research uses a systematic description and collection of existing data to measure carefully using quantitative analytical tools with informants from the Head of BPKAD, Secretary of BPKAD, Head of Sector, Head of Subid/Head of Subdivision and Staff. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it shows that: (1) Compensation Variable (X1) has a significant effect on competence in Performance Variable Y Employees of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Rokan Hilir Regency, (2) Competency Variable (X2) has a significant effect on significant to the competency of the Performance Variable Y of Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Employees of Rokan Hilir Regency, (3) Compensation Variables (X1) and Competence (X2) have a significant effect on Y Performance of Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) Employees Lower Rokan.
