Abstract

Development Mathematics Learning Devices with Problem Based Learning (PBL) Models in Circle Material for Class 8 th Grade Yohanna Olitavia Saputri NPM. 166410881 Thesis. Mathematics Departement Faculty Teacher Training and Education University Islamic of Riau. Supervisor: Sari Herlina, S.Pd., M.Pd ABSTRACT Mathematics is a very important science in education, because it can improve students' intellectual abilities and skills in thinking. Recognizing the importance of mathematics education, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the learning process. Teachers are expected to always make improvements to the learning process because with a better learning process it is hoped that student learning outcomes will be better. One of the learning models belonging to the characteristics of mathematics is a learning model based on Problem Based Learning (PBL). The form of research conducted is Research and Development (R & D) development research. This study developed learning tools, namely Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD). The development of mathematics learning tools using the Problem Based Learning model in the fo rm of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) obtained an average validation result of 85.81% and 87.94% as well as Student Worksheets (LKPD) with a very valid validation level, it can be concluded based on the findings of the research and discussion.
