Abstract

So far, the measurement of employee performance is still done conventionally. This is felt to be very inconvenient because of the geographical conditions of the Meranti Islands Regency which consists of islands, to get to the capital you have to use sea and land transportation. Not infrequently, files are scattered so that the civil servant concerned has to go back and forth with very long distances. Judging from the listing of the ASN Professionalism index for work area regional offices XII BKN Pekanbaru on March 31 2022, the performance of government employees in the Meranti Islands Regency is still in the very low category. The purpose of this study is to find out the Employee Performance Assessment Strategy through the Employee Performance Measurement Application (PIAWAI) in the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency of Meranti Islands Regency and to find out the inhibiting factors of the Employee Performance Assessment Strategy through the Employee Performance Measurement Application (PIAWAI) in the Personnel Agency and Development of Human Resources in Meranti Islands Regency. The informants in this study are the Head of BPKSDM, Head of development, assessment and performance of state apparatus and civil servants, ASN BKPSDM. In this study using indicators from According to Susanto (2014: 2), namely, Purpose, Environment, Direction, Action, Learning. In this study it was concluded that it was not optimal, especially on the Environment, Direction and Learning indicators. The PIAWAI (Employee Performance Assessment) application is expected to be a solution in facilitating Civil Servants in conducting performance measurements, including providing convenience in service, making it easier for employee daily reports which will later be assessed by superiors, colleagues and subordinates.
