Abstract

The application of fixed asset accounting systems and procedures at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency in the Meranti Islands Regency has not been running in accordance with existing regulations. In addition, the Meranti Islands Regency Government has so far not optimized the regional potential through regional assets/goods. The main objective of this study is to know and analyze the Administration of Regional Property at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of the Meranti Islands Regency. This type of research is qualitative. The number of research informants is 6 people with the Head of BPKAD as the key informant. Data collection techniques by interviews and data analysis in this study used on-site data analysis techniques developed by Miles Huberman. The main conclusion from this study is that the administration of regional property within the scope of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of the Meranti Islands Regency is not optimal and needs to be improved and increased, especially on the indicators of Bookkeeping, Inventory and Reporting. There are still a number of problems such as the application of fixed asset accounting systems and procedures at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency in Meranti Islands Regency has not been running in accordance with existing regulations. In addition, the Meranti Islands Regency Government has so far not optimized the regional potential through regional assets/goods.
