Abstract

Small companies need the application of accounting in running their business, because with the application of accounting, the entrepreneur will know the profit or loss in running a business. Based on this, the author conducts research on small businesses with titles “ Analisis Penerapan Akuntansi Pada Usaha Kerupuk Bawang di Kecamatan Rengat Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu.” The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the Accounting Application in the Bawang Crackers Business in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency with the basic concepts of accounting. The data collected is primary and secondary data and data collection techniques in this study are structured interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. The results of this study are: (1) Bawang Crackers Entrepreneurs in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu District, have applied the concept of business entity, (2) The basis of recording used by the Bawang cracker entrepreneurs in Rengat Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency is cash basis, (3) Bawang Crackers Entrepreneurs in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu District, have applied the concept of time period, (4) Bawang Crackers Entrepreneurs in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu District, have applied the concept of sustainability, (5) Bawang Crackers Entrepreneurs in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu District, have applied the concept of comparison, (6) The recording system carried out by Kerupuk Bawang in Rengat Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu District, has implemented basic accounting concepts but has not been able to produce information that is feasible in running its business.
