Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Profitability, Leverage, Cash Flow and Company Size on Financial Distress in Technology Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020-2022. The dependent variable in this study is Financial Distress, and the independent variable consists of Profitability, Leverage, Cash Flow and Company Size. The population in this study were 44 technology sector companies listed on the IDX in 2020-2022. The sample of this study consisted of 32 companies selected using purposive sampling technique, with a research period of 3 years and obtained 96 company data. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 25 application. The results of the analysis show that partially Profitability has a negative and significant effect on Financial Distress, and Leverage has a positive and significant effect on Financial Distress. Meanwhile, Cash Flow and Company Size have no effect on Financial Distress. The results of the simultaneously analysis show that Profitability, Leverage, Cash Flow and Company Size have a significant influence on Financial Distress.
