Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF THE PROJECT BASED LEARNING MODEL ON STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES SMA NEGERI 1 PEKANBARU FATMA INDAH SARI NPM. 196810853 Email: fatmaindahsari@student.uir.ac.id ABSTRACT This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru with the aim of obtaining information about the Effect of Project Based Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes. This research will be conducted in September 2023. The subjects in this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in class X, with a population of 57 students. Where, class X.5 control class and class X.6 experimental class. This study used the Quasi Experiment Design method. The data collection technique for the learning outcomes of this research is pretest and posttest. In this study, the Mann-Whitney hypothesis test was carried out with a significant level of 0.05 (5%). Based on the results of the study, a significant 0.759 > 0.05 was obtained. Based on the results of this study showed that Ho was accepted, and Ha was rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that using the project-based learning model is not effective enough in improving student learning outcomes in class X economics subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru for the 2023/2024 academic year.
