Abstract

Violent crimes between correctional inmates in correctional institutions often occur, resulting from various factors that can affect the psychological condition of inmates. Such influencing factors include discrimination in the granting of rights, the presence of gangs within the residential block or other factors that trigger violence between the inmates. The research formulation is what caused the violence between inmates at Class IIA Bangkinang Prison, and how the efforts were made to prevent violence between inmates at Class IIA Bangkinang Prison. The formulation of the problem that the author discusses is about the Implementation and Efforts of Disciplinary Punishment against Correctional Assistance People Who Perform Violent Persecution in Class IIA Bangkinang Penitentiary in the Prevention of Security and Order Disorders The type of research used is observational research or observation research by interviewing, i.e., researchers directly conduct research on the research site to obtain the necessary data. Meanwhile, the nature of this study is descriptive, which is to clearly and in detail about the Implementation of Disciplinary Punishment against Correctional Assistance People Who Perform Violent Persecution in Class IIA Bangkinang Penitentiary Institution in the Prevention of Security and Order Disorders. The results of the study show that the law enforcement mechanism against inmates who commit same-sex abuse within the Bangkinang Class IIA Correctional Institution provides a warning or reprimand for prisoners/convicts if their offense is considered a minor offense. Put it in solitary confinement for every prisoner/convict whose offense is considered severe. No remission or parole to any prisoner/convict who has repeatedly committed an offence. Sanctions against the persecution of fellow inmates in Class IIA Bangkinang Penitentiary, the administrative sanction implementation method for proper correctional inmates is focused on correctional officers who must re-examine correctional inmates. Efforts to prevent violence between inmates at Class IIA Bangkinang Prison are with the Improvement of Supervision, Socialization of Human Rights values in the development of inmates, the Giving of Free Near Leave (CMB), Conditional Leave (CB), Family Visiting Leave (CMK), and parole (PB) under certain conditions.
