Abstract
This boy band managed to achieve success in the international arena. NCT Dream made the song "Graduation" as a form of farewell to the graduation system they had experienced. Lyrics are not just a series of words, but contain symbols, hidden meanings and emotional messages that are interpreted deeply. This research aims to reveal the meaning of farewell contained in the lyrics of the song "Graduation" by NCT Dream through Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic approach. By using the basic concept of markers and markers. This research method was applied with descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study are found that the lyrics of NCT Dream's k-pop song "Graduation" reveal separation as a form of journey from life, the promise will always be in the memory, a form of hope and optimism to step into the future, and shape one's emotions to become more mature.
