Abstract
his research aims to make communication in the family in the behavior of children who are addicted to electronic games can be effective. When a child who is addicted to electronic games is the problem in this case, the family is the closest group to provide a statement on how the communication process occurs so that the impact will be a solution that will be carried out in solving the problem. In this study, it will be analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method by focusing on communication between children and families, namely mothers and children. So that it will provide an analysis of how communication occurs and provide communication that occurs in addicted children that affect children's behavior. This research aims to make communication in the family in the behavior of children who are addicted to electronic games can be effective. In this study, it will be analyzed using a descriptive qualitative method by focusing on communication between children and families, namely mothers and children.The results of this study include family behaviors that make children addicted to electronic games from parents and children, Lack of supervision of children due to parents' busyness, Lack of intensive communication about playing electronic games, Indifference because children do not want to listen to parents, Children's dishonesty to parents by playing secretly, Children's playtime is allowed to use mobile phones continuously, There is no priority activities for children such as education. In this study, there is family communication that occurs in children who are addicted to electronic games. Communication with a high pitch (emotional), Communication with emotions with actions, Communication using mobile phones (phone and messages), Direct communication with actions.
