Abstract

Worker productivity is one of the key factors determining the success of a construction project, particularly in terms of time efficiency, cost management, and work quality. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing worker productivity in the Type 70 housing development project at Asmara Graha Residence, located on Jalan Kapau Sari, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The research method used is a quantitative approach with survey techniques conducted through questionnaire distribution to project workers, followed by data analysis using SPSS software. The research findings indicate several significant factors affecting worker productivity, including work motivation, work discipline, work environment, and labor management systems. The motivation factor includes worker welfare, wages received, and the relationship between workers and supervisors. The discipline factor consists of punctuality, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and awareness of occupational safety. Meanwhile, the work environment factor includes workplace comfort, air circulation, and teamwork among workers. Based on the analysis results, several strategies can be implemented to enhance worker productivity in this construction project. These include improving labor management systems, implementing regular training programs, strengthening communication between workers and management, and providing performancebased incentives. The implementation of these strategies is expected to increase work efficiency, accelerate project completion, and optimize the quality of the housing development.
