Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the packaging of vermicelli noodle products at IKM Vermicelli Ichlas in Selatpanjang, Meranti Islands Regency. In assessing this packaging only focus on aspects of product packaging. The assessment indicators used include protecting the content (protection), providing ease of use (operating), useful for reuse (reusable), providing attractiveness (promotion), as a product identity (image), distribution (shipping), information ( labeling), Furthermore, the method used in this study is a quantitative method, namely a method based on the philosophy of positivism used to examine populations or certain samples by random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data measurement technique uses 4 scales, in assessing the highest answer a score of 4 can be scored and strongly disagree is given a score of 1. The analysis is carried out as on a Likert scale. Based on the results of the analysis of the assessment indicators, namely the aspect of product packaging, this business is feasible to run.
