Abstract

Concrete is a very important construction and is most dominantly used in building structures. Concrete is a mixture of concrete-forming materials consisting of coarse aggregate (gravel), fine aggregate (sand) and cement and water as a catalyst to react with the mixture. Elements that are considered as cement substitutes are materials that have hydraulic properties and are considered capable of being substitutes for cement materials. In this research, Tohor Lime and Dolomite Stone Powder could be alternative cement replacement options. The aim of this research is to determine the effect on concrete compressive strength test values and the comparison between the use of quicklime and dolomite stone powder in concrete compressive strength tests. The method used in planning this concrete mix refers to SNI 7656-2012 concerning Procedures for selecting normal concrete mixes. Compressive strength testing of concrete with the addition of Tohor Lime and Dolomite Stone Powder was carried out with variations of 0%, 5%, 10% and 15% of the total weight of cement used. Tohor Lime and Dolomite Stone Powder used are those that pass the N0.200 (0.0075 mm). From the results of testing the compressive strength of concrete obtained at the age of 28 days which had been partially replaced with cement with quicklime powder and dolomite stone powder, the result was that quicklime powder had a greater compressive strength value compared to the compressive strength value of dolomite stone powder, for quicklime powder with a variation of 5% experienced an increase, namely 2.54%, and 10%, namely 8.22% and 15%, namely 8.82%, which means concrete with a partial replacement for cement in lime Tohor can be used for concrete mixtures, while dolomite stone powder which has been partially replaced with cement with a variation of 5% has increased, namely 0.97%, and 10%, namely 2.84% and has decreased at a percentage of 15%, namely -4.07%. , which means that dolomite stone powder is less able to withstand the compressive strength of concrete, but dolomite lime powder can still be used in concrete mixtures, but at a certain percentage.
