Abstract

. The high or low tendency of Cinderella Complex can be influenced by several internal or external factors, one of which is self-concept. A person's view of themselves, which includes cognitive, affective, and behavioral components, is known as self-concept. The research design used quantitative research with 382 female students of Islamic University of Riau. The researcher determined the research subjects using Cluster Sampling. The data analysis used the Spearman Rho correlation test with a coefficient (r) of -0.420 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). So it can be concluded that the more positive the self-concept, the lower the tendency of Cinderella Complex in female students of the Islamic University of Riau.
