Abstract
The design of a charcoal oven is a design for a tool that uses used oil to burn coconut shells into coconut shell charcoal. This research aims to design a charcoal oven with a blower stove system fueled by used oil which will have the benefit of making it easier for people to make coconut shell charcoal. This research used snail blower components, fuel tank, oven, frame, oil flow hose, stove body and blower air duct. The results of tool testing showed that the frame strength was 9.152 N/mm2, the blower power was 150 Watt and the used oil pressure was 1.7041 kPa. The highest production capacity results in experiment 3 in 180 minutes were 1,357 kg/hour. The longer the coconut shell oven time in a blower stove charcoal oven fueled by used oil, the greater the production capacity produced by the charcoal oven. This is because the oven time affects production capacity, thereby causing an increase in the production capacity of charcoal ovens, blower stoves fueled by used oil.
