Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of Qur’an memorization (tahfidz) on the Arabic vocabulary mastery of students at Sakinah Integrated Islamic Elementary School. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto research design. The population of this study consists of 37 fifth-grade students from Sakinah Integrated Islamic Elementary School. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests and documentation, while data analysis techniques used the T-test analysis using SPSS version 20. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of Qur’an memorization on the Arabic vocabulary mastery of fifth-grade students at Sakinah Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Siak Hulu. This is evidenced by a significance value (Sig.) of 0.01, which is less than 0.05, indicating the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Additionally, the R square value is 0.834 or 83.4%, indicating a strong and significant influence.
