Abstract
This research aims to develop a chemistry e-module based on SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society) in chemistry learning that is valid based on the validity of material experts, media experts, user responses, namely teachers and students. The research method used is Research and Development or (R & D) with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. However, researchers limited this research to only the implementation stage due to time and cost limitations. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 11 Pekanbaru on class X students. The research results showed that the SETS-based chemistry e-module had very valid criteria. This is based on validation from 3 validators with scores of 90% from media experts and 89% from material experts respectively. The teacher practicality test was carried out on 2 teachers and obtained results of 91% with very practical criteria. Student responses obtained from 30 students were seen from the results of the questionnaire, which was 82% with very good criteria.
