Abstract
This study was motivated by the problem of students’ low interpersonal intelligence in learning Islamic Studies at MA Plus Skills Hasanah Pekanbaru. The aim of the study was to investigate the influence of the STAD cooperative learning model on students’ interpersonal intelligence in learning Islamic Studies at MA Plus Skills Hasanah Pekanbaru. This was a quantitative study with a correlational approach. The sample of the study involved the entire population of 61 students. The data collection techniques of the study were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques of the study were normality test and simple linear regression test. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence the STAD cooperative learning model on students’ interpersonal intelligence in learning Islamic Studies at MA Plus Skills Hasanah Pekanbaru. This was in accordance with the ANOVA results stating that if the significance value was less than 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted. The results of the level of mastery in applying the STAD cooperative learning model in learning Islamic Studies at MA Plus Skills Hasanah Pekanbaru was 0.8493 or 84.93% which was included in a good category. Then the level of interpersonal intelligence of students in learning Islamic Studies at MA Plus Skills Hasanah Pekanbaru was 0.8459 or 84.59% which was included in a good category too.
