Abstract
This research uses a quantitative approach, namely a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to research certain populations or samples, sampling techniques are generally carried out randomly, data collection uses research instruments, data analysis is quantitative/statistical with the aim of testing hypothesis that has been established. The results of this research are that service quality has a significant influence on the welfare of elderly people in the Technical Service Unit of the Tresna Werdha Husnul Khotimah Pekanbaru Social Home. This is based on the sig value. service quality (X) is 0.000 and the calculated t value is 1.977. Looking at the basis for decision making, the sig value. service quality (X) is 0.000 < 0.05 and the calculated t value is 1.977 > r table, namely 1.966. Thus, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. This means that there is an influence between the quality of service (X1) on the welfare of the elderly (Y) in the Technical Service Unit of the Tresna Werdha Husnul Khotimah Pekanbaru Social Home.
