Abstract

Analysis of Rice Farming Using Combine Harvesters in Langsat Permai Village, Bungaraya District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. Under the Guidance of Mr. Dr. Ir. Ujang Paman Ismail, M. Agr Siak Regency is one of the largest rice producers in Riau Province, which is well known as a rice barn. Rice is a commodity that is very important economically, socially and politically. The economy of farming families and rural areas still depends on rice farming. The aim of this research is to study the characteristics and profile of lowland rice farming using combine harvesters, as well as the costs, production and income of lowland rice farming using combine harvesters, and their efficiency values. In Langsat Permai Village, Bungaraya District, Siak Regency, Riau Province, a survey method was used in this research. For this study, 20 individuals selected through the census were used. In this research, qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. Primary data and secondary data are data sources. The research results show that the average rice farmer is 40 years old, has an average education level of 8 years, an average of 4 years of business experience, and an average of 5 dependents for the head of the family. The total cost of rice farming in Langsat Permai Village is IDR. 4,035,320.70/Ha/MT. Where there is a fee for using urea fertilizer of IDR. 270,827.59/Ha/MT and phonska fertilizer Rp. 312,448.28/Ha/MT, pesticide costs Rp. 2,805,000/Ha/MT, the average use of a combine harvester is Rp. 675,000.00/Ha/MT and equipment depreciation costs are IDR. 1,601,458.33. The total production of lowland rice farming using a combine harvester machine is 6,265.00 Kg/Ha/MT with an average price of Rp. 4,650/Kg. So you get a gross income of Rp. 29,132,250.00/Ha/MT or net income of Rp. 25,096,929.30/Ha/MT with an RCR value of 7.22.
