Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the implementation of the self-help housing stimulant assistance program (BSPS) in the provision of house in Koto Perambahan Village, Kampa District, Kampar Regency. Self-help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) is a government facility, which is a number of assistance provided to people with low incomes. Meanwhile, its development strength is building housing because of community initiatives and efforts according to individuals or groups, including repair, restoration, construction of new houses and the environment.The theory used in this study consists of 4 theories, namely: implemented policies, target groups, implementing organizations and environmental factors. In collecting research data using a descriptive survey technique with a quantitative method approach. This study draws and sets a number of samples from the population that are used as sources of data and information, where the samples are drawn or determined from a number of research populations, and prioritizes data collection tools, questionnaire lists and interview guide lists as basic tools to explain research variables with the aim of explaining explain, and describe the reality that exists. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program in providing suitable housing in Koto Perambahan Village, Kampa District, Kampar Regency has not run optimally. This includes the lack of public participation and awareness as well as the lack of knowledge about the BSPS program. In addition, in the development stage, it must be done in mutual cooperation with a group that has been determined but in reality it is still done individuall
