Abstract

The main focus of this evaluation is to assess whether the community, local stakeholders and other relevant parties have been optimally involved in the preparation of the RKP Desa. The evaluation also covers aspects of sustainability by considering whether the plan is in line with the long-term vision and real needs of the village. According to the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 114/2014 on Village Development Guidelines, village development is a series of activities carried out by the village government with the participation of the Village Consultative Body and the community, with the aim of achieving development goals by utilizing and allocating village resources. This research aims to evaluate the preparation of the Government Work Plan of Gemuruh Village, West Kundur District, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province. The results showed that the evaluation of the preparation of the Gemuruh Village RKP was in accordance with regulations, and around 80% of village development activities were running well. Every year, the Gemuruh village government holds hamlet meetings to ensure that the programs run are in accordance with the needs of the community. Nevertheless, several programs in the field of village development contained in the RKPDes have not been fully realized.
