Abstract

The government of the Meranti Islands Regency in Patai, Mekong Village, Meranti Islands Regency, used domestic waste from the Gogok TPS to the Mekong Village Beach, Meranti Islands Regency. This did not solve the existing problem, but a new problem, namely the result of the domestic waste, which caused liquids originating from domestic waste and a pungent stench. The flow of waste does not only disturb the beauty of the Meranti Islands Regency Beach. But it also pollutes the environment. Moreover, the liquid waste gives off a very unpleasant odor. The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of making abrasion resisting sheet piles using waste in Mekong Village Beach, Meranti Islands Regency according to Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning environmental protection and management, to analyze ideally in making abrasion resisting sheet piles using waste in Mekong Village Beach District. The Meranti Islands according to Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning environmental protection and management. In this research, the writer uses the type of sociological legal research. Where the research location that the author did was in Mekong Village Beach, Meranti Islands Regency. Conclusion by using or the like, then conclusions are drawn deductively. The conclusion of this study is that it does not solve the existing problem, but a new problem, namely the result of the domestic waste, which causes liquid originating from domestic waste and a pungent stench. The flow of waste does not only disturb the beauty of the Meranti Islands Regency Beach. But it also pollutes the environment. Moreover, the liquid waste gives off a very unpleasant odor. The suggestion is to further strengthen coordination between sectors/institutions/agencies that have the same role in carrying out abrasion prevention activities either naturally or rehabilitated or artificially.
