Abstract

The aim of the research conducted at the Bintang Khalifah Preschool in Pekanbaru was to find out whether the accounting applied by the Bintang Khalifah Preschool in Pekanbaru corresponded to generally accepted accounting. Primary data and secondary data are the types of data collected, then interviews and documentation are the data collection techniques, and the descriptive method is the data analysis technique used. The results of research obtained by the author from Paud Bintang Khalifah in Pekanbaru are that the application of accounting is not in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting principles because in its analysis it does not make journals, post ledgers, does not make trial balances, and does not make adjustments to buildings and equipment, as well as in preparing reports financial statements do not prepare cash flow reports and notes to financial reports.
