Abstract

This research aims to determine the interaction and main effects of bokashi tangkos and NPK Mg 15:15:6:4 fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery, which was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Pekanbaru City, for four months, starting from March to June 2023. The research used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design consisting of two factors. The first factor is the dose of bokashi tangkos (T) consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0; 180; 360; 540 g per plant and the second factor is the dose of NPK Mg 15:15:6:4 (N) consisting of levels, namely: 0; 2.5; 5.0; 7.5 g per plant. The parameters observed were the increase in plant height, increase in the number of fronds, increase in the length of the longest frond, increase in the diameter of the seed tuber and root volume. The data was analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results of the research showed that the effect of the interaction between bokashi tangkos and NPK Mg 15:15:6:4 fertilizer was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment is at a dose of bokashi tangkos 540 g per plant and NPK Mg 15:15:6:4 fertilizer 7.5 g per plant. The main effect of bokashi tangkos is real on all observation parameters. The best treatment is at a dose of 540 g per plant. The main effect of NPK Mg 15:15:6:4 is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment is at a dose of 7.5 g per plant
