Abstract

Research with the title "The Effect of Cocopeat and Mushroom Baglog Waste Oysters (Pleurotus sp) on the Yield and Nutritional Content of Microgreens Kale Planting (Brassica oleracea var. Sabellica)" has been implemented at home Glass, Faculty of Agriculture, Basic Chemistry Laboratory, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution No. 113, Air Winter Village, Bukit Raya District and at the Central plantation services laboratory, jl. Soekarno-Hatta, Kota Pekanbaru. This research was carried out for 2 months starting from March until April 2023. The research aims to determine the potential of the media planting cocopeat and baglog oyster mushroom waste on yield and content kale plant microgreen nutrition. The research used a Randomized Design Complete (RAL) consisting of 5 treatments, from each treatment repeated 5 times. The treatments are, Soil (Control), (1:1:1) Soil 50 g : Cocopeat 50 g : Oyster Mushroom Baglog Waste 50 g, (2:1:1) Soil 100 g : Cocopeat 25 g : Oyster Mushroom Baglog Waste 25 g, (1:2:1) Soil 25 g : Cocopeat 100 g : Baglog Oyster Mushroom Waste 25 g and (1:1:2) Soil 25 g : Cocopeat 25g: Oyster Mushroom Baglog Waste 100 g. The parameters observed are plant wet weight (g), root length (cm), root volume (cm3), water content (%), vitamin C analysis (mg), calcium content analysis (mg) and content analysis magnesium (mg). The observation data was analyzed statistically and carried out with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) Advanced Test at the 5% level. Research result shows that the influence of cocopeat and oyster mushroom baglog waste significant effect on plant wet weight (g), root length (cm), root volume (cm3), water content (g) and vitamin C analysis (mg), by treatment best (1:2:1) Soil 25 g : Cocopeat 100 g : Oyster Mushroom Baglog Waste 25 g.
