Abstract
Research with the title "The Effect of Egg Shells and TSP on the Growth and Production of Soybean Plants (Glycine max L) on PMK Soil". The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Air Winter, Air Winter Village, Butkit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, over a period of 4 months starting from February to May 2023. This research aims to determine the influence of interaction and influence The main effects of egg shells and TSP on the growth and production of soybean plants. This research used a completely randomized design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is egg shell (C) with 5 treatment levels, namely 0, 168.75, 337.5, 506.2 and 675 grams per plot. The second factor is the TSP dose consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 9.6, 19.20 and 28.8 grams per plot. The parameters observed were plant height, net assimilation rate (LAB), relative growth rate (LPR), age at harvest, age at flowering, number of pods per plant, percentage of fruity pods, seed weight per planting and weight of 100 seeds. The observation data was analyzed statistically and carried out with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) Advanced Test at 5%. The results showed that the interaction of egg shells and TSP had an effect on plant height, LAB, LPR, age at harvest, age at flowering, number of pods planted, weight of seeds planted, and weight of 100 seeds. The best treatment was given by giving egg shells at 675 g/plot. and TSP 19.20 g/plot. The main effect of giving egg shells was on plant height, LAB, LPR, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods planted, percentage of fruity pods, seed weight per plant and weight of 100 seeds, the best treatment was at a dose of 675 g/plot. The main effect of giving TSP was on plant height, LAB, LPR, flowering time, harvest time, number of pods per plant, percentage of fruity pods, seed weight per planting and weight of 100 seeds. The best treatment was 28.8 g/plot
