Abstract
This research was motivated by the low level of noble character (Akhlakul Karimah) among students at Al-Kautsar Modern Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru. Since morality is a fundamental aspect of Islam, especially for santri (Islamic boarding school students), they are expected to exhibit good character. The study aimed to determine the levels of Aqidah Akhlak and Akhlakul Karimah among students and to examine the influence of Aqidah Akhlak learning on the development of their noble character. A quantitative correlational approach was used, with the research population consisting of students from classes VIIB, VIIC, and VIID. A saturated sampling technique was applied, involving all 81 students in the population. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The findings showed that there was a significant influence of Aqidah Akhlak learning on students' noble character, with a significance value of 0.000 and a moderate correlation coefficient of 0.405 (40.5%). The analysis further predicted that improved Aqidah Akhlak learning could contribute up to 70.7% in shaping students’ noble character. Therefore, it can be concluded that Aqidah Akhlak learning plays an important role in influencing the noble character of students at Al-Kautsar Modern Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru.
