Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of skills and work experience on the performance of Honda Soekarno Hatta Pekanbaru Showroom employees. The research population of working employees is 35 employees. The sampling technique in this research used the census method. So the sample is 35 employees. Data collection uses questionnaires and data analysis uses simple regression. Based on the research results, it shows that partially skills and work experience have a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, skills and work experience have a significant effect on the performance of Honda Soekarno Hatta Pekanbaru Showroom employees. The contribution of the influence of the independent variables (skills and work experience) to the dependent variable (employee performance) is 52.3%, while the remaining 47.7% is influenced by other variables not included in this research such as knowledge, abilities, training and others.
