Abstract
This study was a quantitative correlation research, motivated by the low level of students' learning interest. It focused on whether there was an influence of reward giving on students' learning interest in the Islamic Education subject for Grade XI at Senior High School 2 Bangko, Rokan Hilir, Riau. The study aimed to determine the extent of this influence, involving all Grade XI students as the research subjects, with a total population of 40 students. The study consisted of two variables: Reward Giving (Variable X) and Students' Learning Interest in the Islamic Education subject (Variable Y). The results indicated that reward giving had a significant influence on students' learning interest, as shown by data analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 for Windows, where the significance value in the simple regression test was 0.000 < 0.05. Thus, the research hypothesis stating that reward giving influenced students' learning interest in the Islamic Education subject was accepted. The influence of Reward Giving contributed 53.4% to students' learning interest, while the remaining 46.6% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. This finding categorized the influence of Reward Giving on students' learning interest in the Islamic Education subject as "Moderately Strong."
