Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning achievement of students at the Tebuireng 4 Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School. A student must have good learning achievement, because learning achievement is an important thing that must be possessed, especially in terms of active questioning. The formulation of the problem that will be studied by this study is how the influence of active questioning on the learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education of Students at the Tebuireng 4 Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of active questioning on the learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education of Students at the Tebuireng 4 Al-Ishlah Islamic Boarding School. This type of research is quantitative research with a correlation approach. Sampling was carried out using proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, with a sample of 53 students. For data collection using questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis of the influence of active questioning on learning achievement is accepted with a significance value of 0.000. The magnitude of the influence of active questioning on learning achievement is strong (0.759). It can be predicted that if the Influence of Questioning Activity is increased, it will contribute to increasing learning achievement by 0.548 or 54.8%. It can be concluded that the results of this study are that there is a strong influence between questioning activity and student learning achievement, therefore the more students have high questioning activity, the better the achievement produced by students.
