Abstract

Research with the title "The Effect of Goat Manure and Compost Fertilizer NPK 16:16:16 on the Production of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) Plants in PMK Soil”, was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City from February to April 2023. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of interaction and influence The main effects of goat manure compost and NPK 16:16:16 on plant production cucumber. The research used a completely randomized factorial design consists of two factors. The first factor is the dose of goat manure compost (K), which consists of 5 levels, namely 0; 250; 500; 750; 1000 g/plot and the second factor is NPK 16:16:16 (N) fertilizer dose consisting of 4 levels, namely 0; 3.75; 7.50; 10.25 g/plot. The parameters observed include: flowering age, harvest age, quantity fruit per plant, fruit weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant, fruit length and number of fruit remaining per plant. Observation data is explained statistically and followed by a further BNJ test with a level of 5%. The research results show that the effect of the interaction between goat manure compost and NPK 16:16:16 is significant on parameters observing the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant, fruit length and number of remaining fruit per plant. Treatment The best dose of goat manure compost is 1000 g/plot and NPK 16:16:16 dose is 10.25 g/plot. The main effect of goat manure compost is significant on the whole observation parameters. The best treatment is at a dose of 1000 g/plot. Main influence NPK 16:16:16 is real for all observation parameters. The best treatment dose at a dose of 10.25 g/plot.
