Abstract
This study aims to determine the characteristics of oil palm smallholders who are members of KUD Tunas Makmur, the implementation of the PIR-KKPA program, and the income of KUD Tunas Makmur members. The method used in this study is a survey method. The sample in this study were oil palm farmers who are members of KUD Tunas Makmur, totaling 29 farmers. The results of this study indicate that the group of oil palm farmers who are members of KUD Tunas Makmur are dominated by productive ages so that at work they still have the enthusiasm to work, namely in the range of 32-50 with a percentage of 44.82%. The majority of KUD Tunas Makmur members have junior high school education levels. the majority of oil palm farmers who are members of KUD Tunas Makmur work as farmers with a percentage of 68.96% with an average work experience of > 5 years with a percentage of 34.48%. The majority of farmers owning privately owned land will have higher production yields. Some farmers rent land for farming because the land owned by farmers is still narrow and for higher production with an average area of 2-4 hectares. Members of KUD Tunas Makmur have an average number of dependents of 3-4 people. The KKPA system contained in KUD Tunas Makmur is a partnership system in which the garden development system is through a credit pattern from the government that cooperates or partners with the private sector and is intended for people who own land. The KKPA palm loan installment pattern at KUD Tunas Makmur is from 100% - 20% FFB yields for the payment of the palm credit. Respondents' responses regarding the ability of the KKPA program to increase the income of respondents before and after receiving the KKPA facilities were in strong agreement where respondents gave responses that the KKPA program they received was able to increase farmers' income. The total income of all plasma oil palm smallholders who are members of KUD Tunas Makmur is IDR 4,684,515,000 with an average income of IDR 161,535,000 for each farmer. Then, regarding the overall profit obtained by oil palm farmers in Pekanbaru City as a whole it is Rp. 3,073,825,143, - with an average profit for each farmer will get Rp. 105,993,970, -. The efficiency value using the RCR ratio is 2.91, which means that the RCR > 1, which means that every year the expenditure incurred earns revenue greater than one, which is called an efficient and profitable business.
