Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and explain the influence of governance on the performance of BUMDes employees in Talang Mulya village, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The type of research used is a descriptive survey research type with quantitative research methods because the researcher collects data by analyzing the data and by describing the data by making direct observations at the research location. The sampling technique used in this research uses a census technique, namely where all members of the population are sampled. The sample for this research consisted of 30 people. The data collection method used was by distributing questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that from the t-test results it is found that governance with a t valuecount 5,165 > ttable 2.04841 and a significant value of 0.000 less than 0.05 (sig (0.000) < 0.05) with a positive coefficient value of 0.867, it can be concluded that partial governance has a significant and positive influence on the performance of BUMDES employees in Talang Mulya Village . The R-Square (R²) value is 0.488 or equivalent to 48.8%. This explains that governance has a significant influence on the performance of BUMDES employees in Talang Mulya Village, while the remaining 51.2% is influenced by external factors which are not discussed in this research. From the conclusions obtained in this research, the author provides input and suggestions to the BUMDES of Talang Mulya Village who are expected to always evaluate employee performance periodically and regularly.
