Abstract

The balance between work and personal life, or work-life balance (WLB), has become a crucial issue in the modern workplace as it significantly affects employee productivity and well-being. This study aims to analyze the impact of work-life balance on employee performance at PT. Awal Bros Transportir. The objective is to determine the extent to which work-life balance influences employee performance to enhance productivity and ensure operational sustainability. This research employs a quantitative method, with data collected through a survey involving the entire employee population of 53 individuals using a census sampling technique. The data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results indicate that work-life balance significantly influences employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.697. The t-test result shows a value of 10.291 > 1.674, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 79.1%, indicating that work-life balance dominantly contributes to variations in employee performance, while the remaining 20.9% is influenced by other factors outside this study. The implications of this research emphasize the importance for companies to support programs or policies that promote work-life balance to ensure optimal employee performance. Strategies such as flexible working hours, enhanced welfare facilities, and time management training are recommended to boost job satisfaction and employee productivity.
