Abstract
The Effect of Discipline on Learning Outcomes Indonesian Language Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik. Every student definitely wants to succeed in every lesson. Therefore the quality of student learning itself must be improved, and with it Discipline of students in learning will certainly make the quality of student learning be better. success in every lesson will definitely happen achieved. The problem discussed in this study is how The Influence of Student Discipline on Indonesian Class Student Learning Outcomes VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of student discipline on the results of learning Indonesian class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik. The theory used is theory regarding discipline put forward by Mudasir (2016) while learning outcomes using the results of the Midterm Examination. The method in this research is correlation method. The approach used is quantitative research. Technique data collection in this study is using interview techniques, questionnaire technique, shooting technique. While the data analysis techniques used the SPSS program technique version 20. The sample in this study are all 63 grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik student. So, from the results of this study it can be interpreted that there is influence positive relationship between Discipline and Student Learning Outcomes in Class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuantan Homecoming. r arithmetic or pearson's correlation in this value analysis positive, it means that there is a positive influence between discipline in the classroom and with the results of learning Indonesian class VIII students. great correlation between discipline in class (X) with learning outcomes of Indonesian (Y) is 61%. Based on the correlation value interval, the level of disciplinary influence in class (X) with strong Indonesian (Y) learning outcomes, namely on range 0.60 – 0.799. Based on the results of completing the hypothesis through the program SPSS turns out to be ?? ?????>??????, namely 68.556 > 3.75, thus there is positive and significant influence on the use of Discipline in class with student learning outcomes in the midterm exams (UTS) in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik. So, discipline and learning outcomes are mutually exclusive effect if the discipline is high then the learning outcomes can also be obtained more good.
