Abstract
The Investment Promotion Program is a program by the Pekanbaru City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services which was formed to promote the investment opportunity sector in Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the capital investment promotion program in increasing investment realization in Pekanbaru City. This type of research uses qualitative methods using representative informants from the Pekanbaru City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service and also investors who have invested in Pekanbaru City and using six dimensions of indicator assessment, namely accuracy of program targets, program socialization, goal achievement and program monitoring. The results of this research indicate that the investment promotion program by the Pekanbaru City Investment and One Stop Integrated Services Service is quite effective, because the investment promotion program has not succeeded in attracting potential foreign investors to invest in Pekanbaru City. Therefore, the Pekanbaru City Investment and One Stop Integrated Services Department must pay more attention to promotional activities that can attract the interest of potential investors in the future.
